We offer all types of photography services, and specialize in real estate, events, weddings, commercial photography, products, sports, and aerial photography. Aaron Yates has been a photographer since his childhood, and has worked professionally since 2010. With beginnings in photojournalism, he soon expanded his offerings to fill a much-needed gap for affordable, professional, quality photography in the Texas hill country.
Getting Started with Photography
So you want to know a few things about photography… Are you available on the date I need? How much will it cost? What kind of quality can you offer?
Photography services can be as little as $150 and as much as several thousand dollars depending on the genre, the complexity, and the type of editing required. The best way to determine price is for you to describe your project to us in as much detail as possible. We’ll calculate the labor-hours, expenses, materials, and other expenses and give you a custom estimate. We can even hold a short meeting to go over some details so that our proposal is accurate. For certain categories, such as real estate and weddings, we already have plenty of packages for you to choose from.
But for now, you need to know a ballpark cost to tell your boss (or better-half). Well, here are a few categories of photography that we provide regularly along with a range of costs.
- Real Estate: $125-$1,000
- Weddings: $500-$4,000
- Portraits: $150-$500
- Aerial Photography: $100-$1,000
- Product Photos: $100-$1,000
- Events: $500-$2,000
Wow, you are thinking, how can the prices vary so much? All of our rates are calculated on an hourly basis plus expenses. So for example, for $150 you can get a couple of headshots in our studio, but for a 12-hour wedding day with three photographers complete with editing and wedding album and all that, you’ll be spending about $4,000. Even within the same category, things can vary quite a bit. We do hourly wedding photography for $200 per hour, but again, our big wedding package is $4,000 or so. It all just depends on the complexity of the project. We’ll be happy to discuss your needs and figure out your expected budget. Just give us a call.
We accept jobs on a first-come, first-served basis. We’re generally booked solid for one to two weeks out, but we always have gaps in the calendar, so we might be able to help you out with an emergency! For popular weekends, though, we’re sometimes booked for up to two years in advance. So if you have a wedding or a big event that is held on a popular weekend, you’ll want to call FAR in advance.
