Aaron Yates and KerrvillePhoto.com offers family portraits, bridals, senior pictures, babies and children, and many other types of portrait photography. The unifying feature of portrait photography is the idea that the subject or model is an active participant in the entire photo session. Whereas with event photography, the photographer can be a “fly on the wall,” when it comes to portraits, the photographer and the subjects¬†must interact cooperatively to achieve the desired outcome — great pictures!

Our theory of portraiture compels us to create images that say something about the subject. We enjoy taking pictures of folks in their natural environment, or in a place that represents the personality of the portrait subject. Are you an athlete? Let’s take pictures at your sporting arena. Are you an attorney? Let’s cooperate to take images that portray the type of practice you run. Does your family mean the world to you? Let’s create photographs that capture that family history and the feelings you can only understand by seeing them in a great picture.

One of the main things that sets us apart from our competitors in the portrait market is that we deliver all of our digital files to you. You aren’t required to buy prints from us, although we do recommend it, and you can use your digital images for almost anything you want (except commercial usage or resale). Your photos are delivered to you in a downloadable gallery so that you can use them for the things you want… social media, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, digital frames, email, and so much more.
